yeah, i love this shot! Very warm and the mottled light is what really makes this shot.

Mate, i cant help you with the aesthetics. However this is a great composition. Knowing that it is ayres rock. Original.

Hey there, Sandy. Thankyou for your comment, very kind. The yellow hue is a result of a cheaper digi and the fact that i didn't photoshop the toneality; which i will do at some stage. Is the lady and kids in your photos you and yours? You have a lovely looking family if so.

why the crop?

 

well, only two reason and both are very shallow.

Firstly i wanted to remove all background from the shot. The background sucked.

Secondly i just wanted to see what reaction id get from the photo community. Since this is the first comment ive had on a photo for a long time, it has obviously evoked a responce, as shallow as it may be.
