Wonderful picture! Lovely contast between the cotton wool effect of the more rapidly flowing water and the slower moving mirror like water reflecting the golden glow of the sunlight. The flowers add interest to what would otherwise be a less interesting part of the photo. It's too bad they look just slightly out of focus. Nevertheless, great photo. Congratulations!

I took this shot this past spring along the beautiful California
coastline.

It's interesting how only a small part of the two women's faces are exposed yet their expressions to me seem so infinitely sad. The masked women, one after the other, convey a sense of the hours these women must spend in one line or another. Great work!

This photo was from a recent trip to Oregon and Northern California.
I was struck by the beauty of the snow covered mountain but the sky
was rather boring so I used a graduated 2 stop neutral density filter
to make the sky look dark and ominous as if storm clouds were
approaching.

A very interesting and creative image. Nice job!

Very nice composition. I like the simple colors and the very sharp image. If I were to do anything, I might crop just a little from the bottom of the image and remove some of the slightly out of focus portion of the petals. Really a fine image.

I like the vivid colors. The geometric pattern of the spokes as well as the woman's arms and her attention to what she is doing all contribute to drawing the viewer into the picture. I like it a lot. On my monitor though the image looks just a little unsharp.

During a tour of a historic Victorian house, this old fashioned broom
and croquet set caught my eye. I liked the lighting and the textures
but, in addition, to me they evoked a sense of the past. What do you
think?

We were enjoying the nice sunny warm springtime weather during our
recent trip to Oregon a few weeks ago. Suddenly the weather turned
cold overnight. The next morning, I ran across these snow and ice
covered flowers which caught my eye. It also gave me a chance to try
out the close focusing/macro feature on my Contax AX. I kind of like
the results. What do you think?

I love this shot. Very nice effect. I agree that it does have sort of water color look to it, particularly the people in the background which adds a lot to the overall image.
