    If I remember, I had my tele racked pretty far out and the aperature as wide open as I could to get the shallow depth of field and blur the background, but as a result not as sharp. Do you think stopping down a bit would help or just a little out of focus?

    You know, it's been a while since I took the picture, and I didn't record the settings. But it was shoot not too long after i got the camera, so i'm guessing i might have used one of the auto modes and with the pop up flash. It was from pretty close up if I remember which might explain the "burning" as you say? Not too much help i know, sorry.
