I did a little PS work on this picture and thought I'd resubmit it
for review. Any and all suggestions are appreciated. Thanks to all.

She wasn't mad at me...as far as I know!! Anyway, this was a planned shot. I just got my camera, and she indulged me some photos. Thanks all for your comments.

This shot says a million words. I can just see this old woman, her grandmother I presume, looking just like the little girl a long time ago. The love here is extrememly easy to spot. Great shot.

This was my first shoot with my new 10D. I'm trying the "teach
yourself" approach to photography. I've been a professional
videographer for 10 years. I would like to know what works and what
doesn't in this shot. I'm thinking a backlight would have made the
shot alot better...but I'm not sure. I would appreciate any and all
comments. Thank you.

I know there are scan lines, but please look past them and give me an opinion
on this photo. This is my first attempt at shooting staged shots. I set this up in
my friends dining room.

I'm new to photography, but I think this shot is pleasing. I did
some editing in post...jazzed it up a bit. I was wondering what an
expert might think.

I cropped the original, and you were right, it does look better with more focus put on the players. Thanks for the suggestion, it was helpful.

I took this picture while on a basketball trip with the Mississippi State
University Men's Basketball team. I was just taking some pics, trying to stay
out of the way, and snapped this one with the team framed by a couple of
balls on a rack. I was wondering if it was any good. I'm new to photography,
I'm a professional videographer, so I'm trying out new things.

This wasn't planned...he just jumped on her back and I shot. I
thought it came out nice. But, I would like to know what you guys
think.
