Greetings,
I bought a M6 .85 classic and six months later found a had-to-have M6 ttl .58. I am keeping the ttl for larger shutter speed dial, the .58 (it is great with the 35 'cron ASPH I have), ttl a plus, and it is 4+ years younger. As many have warned, I discovered that the battery goes flat if the dial is not turned off duh--
If I never saw the ttl .58 I would have thought the.85 Classic was the best ever. My observation on the flare issue is that the .85 flares more because I am left eyed, making it a little harder to get the eye ball jussst right. Is that my imagination? The .58 is less flare prone but if I am careless I can still get whited-out momentarily. I am thinking of trading my mint- classic .85 for a new/mint 90 'cron ASPH, but I haven't tried to focus one with the .58 Any one have experience with .58 and 90 'cron focussing?
Peace, Steve Crowson

Greetings,
I have just returned to Leica after 25 years. I have a M6 .85 with a
35mm Summicron ASPH. I need a 90mm for available light use for high
school concerts and plays, for portraits, and for travel use. My
first thought was the T Elimarit for size and bokeh on potraits but
the available light shooting in auditoriums and theatres makes me
think I need a 90mm Summicrom (55mm)I can't afford another ASPH.
thoughts and sugestions Please. Thanks Steve
is your leica M the last film camera you'd keep??
