Hi. Regarding the pose...it may not be the most conventional set up, but if it is them and it is what evokes emotion in the person who the photo is for-then it is probably perfect. I could take a picture of a man in front of a tree. To everyone else, just a man in front of a tree-boring. But this was the tree this man used to climb when he was a child-to him, an extraordinary shot that evokes emotion. Emotional response is not universal. Tighter crop might be better. Yellowish tint (indoor), can you filter that out at all?

This photo has a "mysterious" feel to it. Very good! I think the black cat with the stones go very well together. Good eye for this shot. Black and white is an excellent choice for this shot.
