Just checking in after realizing previously uploaded photos and comments are back. :)

Hahaha.. thank you Michael. And (very belated) happy new year!
-
Envy you, Sir. :)

I like the contrast of colors and how the roses stand out from the background--this is what I wanted to add to this post a LONG TIME AGO.. But the real reason I stopped by today is to wish you a Merry Christmas and a wonderful new year!
-
Michael,
Wish you a nice holiday season, and a prosperous new year!

I was more inclined to the square format before, but became indecisive now.

but I will vote for this version.
Will there be a new Halloween post this year? :)

Yeah, it's been a while. Hope that you are well too.
Before the trip I ordered a variable ND filter and a nice traveler-type tripod, which were delivered only after I returned home!!! sigh... So I had to shoot it at f32. Luckily it was rainy so I could get the water flows in this.
I will show you the result with the new filter (plus the tripod) sooner or later. :)

Michael and Ken,
Sorry about my silence. I have been inactive for a while, making a few adjustments in my life. Hopefully I can come back more often than in the past two years! :)

Thank you for the explanation. The whole scene was distorted with consistency, and each part was seamlessly stitched to the rest, so I thought you may have added extra distortions. Anyway, amazing!
-
Wonderfully done! I wonder how you corrected for distortions and perspectives?
-
Haha, makes me smile!

Congratulations! I wonder how it would look if you shot in a different time of a day, when the contrast is not as strong as in the current photo. HDR, as others say, would be a solution but sometimes HDR pictures look a bit unnatural to my eyes- although HDRs have their own merits.

Your photos look much better on your website than here- feels like I am looking at prints. Congratulations!
-
I prefer this B&W to the color (which is a rare case)!
By the way, how does the armadillo taste?
-
Too sad that the Olympics are over. How can I wait until summer for the World Cup games..!
-
hic.., that's a lot of drinking, Sir. :) I like the light and texture.
