Many snakes (used by charmers) today are usually traded in such
numbers that species, such as the Egyptian Cobra are declining.
The increased trading is largely due to the reduced lifespan of
individual snakes either by starvation (many cobras have their mouths
sewn to inhibit a full bite) or simply through stress.

Thanks to all those who look.. I appreciate all the comments.
This was taken very late on after sunset, so much so it was quite a
precarious trip back up the cliffs after getting a few shots.
cheers

Preferred this far more than my earlier efforts of the same subject in
colour.

Proved a tricky subject to capture. A series of five shots this was
my favourite composition.

Catching the last rays of sun on the incoming waves on the North

Grap shot in the fading light.

Kaushik, many thanks for your comments.

One of my favourite places on the North Cornish Coast. I waited for
the last rays of the setting sun. the exposure was timed to
syncopate with the receeding wave.

Fading light, this is one of a collection of shots i took at dusk
when nobody was about.
