4-4. Not very attractive view of the bird. I agree, the head being obscured really detracts from this picture. Patience is the key to nature photography. Wait for the bird to reposition itself. -
This is very good. Her expression led me to initially think that she was in a room by herself because she is so absorbed in her own thoughts. Looking closer I can just make out some figures in the background. I really like the effect. -
They certainly are very interesting items, but trying to combine them all in one frame makes the picture a little busy. It really needs a main subject.

Do you mean top view? I like the backlighting but needs more DOF. Colours are nice and interesting detail in the parts with good focus.

Excellent photo. The horizon isn't quite horizontal. Maybe crop some of the black area on the right. However, I really like it.

I like the composition. I know how hard it is when the wind starts blowing. You really need to stop down to get those foreground spikes in focus, but the shutter would be too slow. Flash would ruin the effect - what can you do. If you had the patience - tripod and wait for the wind to stop. I like it - keep it up. -
The grass and background are a bit bright. Interesting photo.

Cool! I like the lighting but the double reflections are a bit distracting. Thanks for the link - I agree, quite inspiring.
