The same thing happened to me with a Webshots member. They took few days before deleting the stolen photos, but not the whole portfolio. I've read on a msg board on the same site that she wasn't new stealing pics but she as still there. Nice web site!

Hi there!
Surfing around the Web I've found that somebody has stolen an image
from my photo.net web page without asking me absolutely anything.
What would you think one should/can do?
Thank you so much,
Carlo

Hello to you all!
I don't think that a 25USD payment con make a difference in a way or the other. Taste is taste and everybody has its own one. Subscriber or not!
I really don't bother that much about ratings. I'm not a photographer, and -anyway- I don't like competitions that much. I couldn't care less about being 100th or 500th or 5000th. I didn't even have a camera and I couldn't care less about photography till four years ago!
The only thing I really miss is, once you've worked on a photo you like, and you receive a severe rating, to see from whom it comes from. Once you've seen the other's portfolio you can judge if consider the low rating you received seriously or not!
I know that then the revenge problem comes out...! But one should have the possibility to know if the good or bad rating he receives comes from a good or a bad photographer. In other words: to consider it or not. I upload photos on this site to have a feedback; I would like to know if the feedback is trustable or not!
IMHO
Happy Christmas and Happy New Year

This could be a good idea! My impression, anyway, is that this new rating systems has brought lower ratings. Is that true? Are there, by any chanche, statistics?
Thanks!

Victor, why don't you try to compare results between DPP and a free trial version of CaptureOne, probably the best converter software (http://www.phaseone.com/)!
-
I think Victor means in the converter's preview window!

Hi there,
I would find very interesting to be able to know which photo has been
rated when you watch at -> See the list of people who are interested
in you -> last contribution. But there is no way! right?
Thanks
Carlo
