Excellent, yet to see this magnificent bird up close
-
Very beautiful interaction like the wing position on the top guy, hard to get eye contact on both. well done, do wish for single tone BG.
-
Love the stretch wings and landing pose, well done.

Perfect Monte, Kestrels are the most difficult species to photograph and you got two in here. detail is perfect and the pose of the perched guy is nice too. congrats

Excellent interaction Monte, the perch balances the image very well. Wish part of the tail was not blocked, some areas look hot on my screen, overall a perfect photo TFS.

Very beautiful, love the wing position and eye contact. I would sharpen up the body and remove the OOF strands in the lower left of the frame.

Excellent timing, nice smooth BG and clean water. interaction is killer, I wonder who wins?

Excellent interaction and behavioral shot, I like the comp, would add catch light for the upper tern, guess you can squeeze a few more bits in the darks.

Very beautiful shot, I like the wing position, full eye contact and head angle. BG is nice too. Thanks for sharing.

Excellent shot David, I saw this on BPN too, well done, love the fully open tail.

David,
This shot is one excellent. It has a killer BG, soft light, eye contact, parallel HA and on top of that full wing position. I can see traces of blood on the bill. Fulls size must have lots of detail. I might brighten up the tail a tiny bit. Congrats.

Great shot Monte, man the chicks are loud. nice job on the whites. I would brighten up the eye and add a catch light for the mom. Also it looks like you over did the NR a little bit, maybe worth a retry.

perfect angle, detail and eye contact on top of that! Looks like the new F22s with desert camouflage.
-
Perfect landing pose and eye contact, excellent detail.

Nice colors and detail, I would prefer full-down position for the closer wing, also I would remove the red patch from URH BG it's distracting.
-
Excellent shot, detail is good despite the harsh light and eye contact adds to the photo.

Excellent timing, I like the colors and detail, almost eye contact!

Another excellent shot Monte,
I have seen these guys hide in the rocks and then dive down on the sand, not sure what they are after. I think the rock works in this shot as it's a part of the habitat but I'd recolor the white strip on the top blue and merge it with the rest of BG, it's a bit distracting from the bird. Excellent detail and pose, congrats.
