I was looking for as much inifinite depth of field as possible. The beauty of the M6 is you can
hand hold at thse shutter speeds, which makes photographing Montana that much easier. I often
hike to locations where the added weight of a tripod is simply unacceptable, particularly when
your already lugging around a An f5 with an 80-200 and 400 3.5 for wildlife photos.

No tripod. Lots of practice. I routinely shoot at that speed, sometimes down to 1/8. Shoot 'er
like a gun with an easy, relaxed trigger pull and a locked elbow in the gut.

No. I n fact, I never have had to. Leica and fuji film is a great mix.

The flash has TTL with a D1, but it sometimes doesn't work very well, especially if there's a dark
background. I've used it with a new D2H and it works just fine. In fact, very well.

On very low contrast days with gray skies and gray clothes on people, I'm having a tough time
getting my M6 classic to give me a split image for focusing. Is my rangefinder biting the dust?

50 cron wide open at 1/2 sec. handheld no less on Provia 100F>
I got lucky. Lucky lucky. Looks pretty cool in color too.

I grew up and lived in Rochester for 30 years. Kodak has been on the ropes for at least that
long. They've always been morons.

Man, I love it. Few photos can pull off a centered subject but this one does. Also, the shadowy
man in the background and the position of the girl's hands lends a sense of concern, even dread.
I actually like the shadows and harsher highlights.

Leicas are nice, but sometimes you need a 400 3.5 Nikon. The
sharpest long glass ever made. 1/60th of a second and a little
luck on a cloudy day. Provia 100f.

I was stuck in traffic behind a school bus and as the bus
unloaded the children in front of the house a woman in curlers
and her bathrobe came running out onto the porch and grabbed
a black skinny dog by the tail to keep it from running into the
road. I actually had a camera, but by the time I could bring it to my
eye (or even roll down the friggin window) the scene was over. If I
ever make a movie, I'll include that scene.

Handheld at 1/8. Provia 100F . 28mm. No idea what f, but
guessing 5.6? It was pretty durn dark. Love being able to hand
hold at that speed. Can't do that with the Nikons I lug around all
day. Not every shot turns out of course, but the ones that do, well,
they're nice to look at.
P.S. Lest you think I'm a cheapskate, I'm sending in my cash next

So I asked this guy. Can I take your picture? He says no. Can I take a picture of your bike? Go
ahead, he says. I take the picture and publish it.
He was on a public street in a public place. I guess I didn't have to ask at all...
28mm 2.8/ I think it was some old T-Max 400 we had sitting around.

We had a flower a few days ago who was a little older. This one
is a bit younger. 50 cron wide open T-Max 100.

Where's the pottery? I see a house and a blue SUV.
