Thanks to all for the kind words. The shot was made from a distance of approximately 1/2 mile, f16, with a tripod and remote release. The camera was set to bulb, and the exposures were "seat of the pants" When I felt I had seen a good sequence of bursts, I would release the shutter, and open again for the next exposure. I shot a total of 50 exposures, and this is the one I liked best.

I really like the repeating pattern, and the great color. How did you get this? Did you climb the tower?

Magnificent Sky.

Great color. Beautiful shot.

Beautiful!

What a beauty. Composition, saturation, contrast, tension, all just right. I really like this.

this was apparently manipulated, but I like the "halo" effect, it really draws the eye to the subject.

This is my kind of b&w work. I like the high contrast, it gives the shot an "edge", and makes it interesting.

I have been driving past this trestle for many years, always
intending to shoot some photographs of it. I finally did. Your
input will be appreciated.

Sharp, beautifully saturated color, full of action. About as good as it gets.

Just a quick shot taken on my lunch break. It has just grown on
me. What do you think?

I truly love this photo. Fluid full of graceful movement, beautiful monotone color. This just sings to me.

Sorry, while a lot of folks apparently like this, to me it seems contrived. Like when you are watching a movie and you are aware that the actor is acting. The word that comes to my mind is "schmaltz".
