I just returned from Mexico for 5 days, shot 5 rolls of Portra 400UC (35mm, sorry, but film results should be similar), I am in love with this film. Perfect skin tones under all lighting conditions. The most beautifully saturated color I have ever seen. I stayed up late one nite for time exposures of a cloudy moonscape, and rose at 5:00 a one morning to get some great carribean sunrises. Again what beautiful, saturated color. These are the first shots of the colorful Mexican architecture, and electric blue carribean where I felt that justice had been done to the subject matter. I have no experience withn 160VC, but I can tell you that I have just replaced Fuji Reala 100 with Portra 400uc.
