Thanks for your comments - they are very useful and it's great to see what other people see that I do not notice! I am not sure if you noticed that I had not edited my photo? I try not to edit them too much before asking an opinion as in some senses this can look a bit like 'cheating' imo. I agree with what you mean about the colour, maybe if the tower was the lighter item in the photo it would be easier to look at with the dark sculpture in the foreground.

Tried to make this a lil more unconvential than the normal tower and

fountain photos. Taken on a Minolta Dimage xg.

Still new to photography, still snapping at everything I can, and

this was my first time playing with a new polarizing lens...!

This is one of the first photographs I have taken with my new SLR

(getting 'into' photography), I chose a red background to show up the

lizard's colour and think it brings out his eye too. I'd just like a

few guiding comments really. I have cropped this picture since

scanning it. Thanks!

Hey, I think the contrast is good, between red and blue as well as dark and light.

Well, I recently spent a period living in Paris and went snapping up at La Défense, but never came up with this one...I think it's a very interesting take on that sculpture, and the best way of getting rid of all those nasty skyscrapers and tourists behind and around it!
