Currently I have 2x 500watt interfit strobes with umbrellas. I want to achieve light that is going to be softer and more controlled so I have heard that umbrellas are not the best way to go. Am I better off going for big soft boxes or small ones? Is it better to get a big one or just one that covers the subject size? Seeing I have to strobes would 2 small 3'x4' soft boxes be a good purchase? Thanks Martin.
