I have a pair of studio speakers near my monitor, about 2 inches away.

It's a new monitor, 2 months old and I had to brighten it from 7-17%.

Is that ok? Are the speakers affecting the quality of the monitor?

I read in some posts that Gretag Eye One Photo is far better than

Colorvision PRO 2 Suite. Is there really that much of a difference

betwen the two? Thare's a $200 difference in price. I know it's not

much but for that I can get a pretty decent polarizer I need just as

badly as a calibrating device. It probably doesn't matter much which

printer you use but anyway I should also mention I mainly print on

Fuji Frontier.

I am buying a Canon EF 50mm f/1.4, Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro and a

Canon 550EX Speedlite. The prices at B&H are approx.: $300, $470 and

$330. I'll be going to Chicago in a couple of weeks. As far as I

know, the photo stores over there have higher prices than the New

York ones. Does anyone know of a store in Chicago, that has prices

similar to the ones at B&H? At present time I couldn't aford to pay

$1400 instead of $1100.

internet is aprox. $1499. What is the price of it(including VAT) if

you buy it in a store in US?
