I have several Olympus cameras from OM-1 to E-M5. I have both the 50mm f3.5 macro and the the 50mm f2 macro. I use the 50mm f2 more than any other lens. I haven't used the 50mm f3.5 for a long time but it is more compact than the f2, especially on an E-M5. I would recommend either of these lenses. The 50mm f3.5 is quite affordable and when using a macro for macro photography, the manual focus in no inconvenience. The process is slow anyway. Use a tripod to as the DOF is constrained and the IS is not going to solve this.
If you don't have an EVF, it may be difficult to focus (I have never tried to focus using the LCD). On an E-M5, it can be a bit tricky even with the EVF (I have found a few issues using the E-M5 with my 50mm F2, nothing too serious).
I have a number of photos in my portfolio taken with the 50mm f2 on various E series cameras.
When the Olympus 60mm macro comes out, I might buy it but I am not sure it makes any sense (if I can convince myself that having an auto focus macro is useful I will consider it).
