Hi,

  I love the subject matter and composition but can't stand what ever you did to it in post processing. For it to look like a old painting the modern buildings in the back left ruin it. The effect you used lost detail in the ship.

I was admiring your IR work. I'm offering this as constructive criticism. I think your subject choice and composition is spot on, however many of your images are not sharp. Have you calibrated your equipment? I assume your using a modified DSLR? I use one as well plus IR film. It is very possible that your body focus is off or your using a poor lens.

Your photography would be excellent if not for the lack of sharpness.

I love the lines and composition. I can't honestly comment on the tones because my monitor might be different from yours but I do like that you used B&W.

What I don't like is the person dead center in front, he/she ruins a perfect image.

A few less people in the foreground and this is a winner.
