  1. Hello,

I've bought 3 flash heads of hensel expert C, these are old models, as you can

    see on this picture.

I've been looking for stands but in several shops, where I went with a flash

head, they told me these flash use special mount, so I need to buy special

    stands directly to hensel.

Does anyone had the same trouble before, do you have any idea about how can I

do it, I mean a way to adapt cleanly this flash to standard stands? or

    anything else you know...<div>00HXiy-31557284.jpg.01e8334de9985581f2250475d1f376cd.jpg</div>

  2. Hi, I use my bronica SQ-Ai with a metz 45CL-4 and the sca 386. I confirm that it does not work on SQ, that's the reason I updated to SQ-Ai (on ebay). The TTL works very good, I allways use it in combination with the my sekonic cell. The TTL works with just two model of metz flash the 45CL-4 and the 60CT (not sure), I've make all this investigation when I wanted to go on TTL on my bronica SQ-Ai, 6 month ago, I was shooting ttl yesterday in Paris (I live there, sorry for my english). You can find some information about SCA compatibility on the metz site, I you have any question, contact me on panchoskywalker@gmail.com

  3. THIS IS IT:

You don't need any special prism for TTL flash, because the adapter must be conected to the camera body. But the adapter works only with "i" models (ETRSi & SQ-Ai). Any other flash works on the hot shoe, I use my canon 550ex and it works fine on my SQ-Ai.

The flash Metz 45CL4 is the one (and only?) that works on TTL mode with the adapter.(information available on the metz site, they recommend 45CL4 for bronicas)

These are the informations I've colected on the web. hope you apreciate.

  4. There's something I don't understand:

I own a bronica SQ-Ai and I want to use it with TTL flash, so I understand I need the METZ SCA-386 Bronica Adapter,ok, but this adapter has to cord: one that must be conected with the flash and the other? must it be conected with a special view finder(expensive) or just to the camera body. Can anybody help me?

Does anyone has an idea of which flash can I use? with a special bracket to avoid red eyes?

    BRONICA 6x6 STILL ALIVE!!!!!!!

  5. Hi,

I had the Bronica SQ and I recently upgrade to bronica SQ-Ai (for motordrive)and I'm very happy with this change, I have the motor drive, which is excellent and 50, 80 mm PS lenses, I bought two days ago a 150mm PS on ebay, still waiting for it, I use to 120 back and a polaroid back too, I have to say I'm not a professional, but I would like to and of course I can not buy a hasselblad. (I'm from europe, so my english is not so good)

The thing is that I think that if you tale bronica, the SQ-Ai is THE one you need, don't buy SQ or SQ-B, as soon as you get home you would want the motordrive, and the only model that take it is the SQ-Ai, well, I hope my comments are usefull to you, bye.
