In a hot, dry desert, this bush is located in a runoff location where it
can access water maybe once or twice a year after a snow melt or
run off from a rain storm in the mountains near by.
Life exists is the most inhospitable locations.
Thanks for stopping.

This is a tree in a prominent location at the "Hidden Valley Trail" at
Joshua Tree Park. No doubt photographed thousands of times like
the Eiffel Tower has been captured on film, sensors and paint but
seeing for oneself does not detract from the thrill of seeing it in
person.
Thanks for stopping.

A friend saw this photo and commented:
"Kids... can't even stop texting to take in a magnificent view (at Keys
Point in Joshua Tree Park).
In fact she was taking a panorama with her cell phone.
Thanks for stopping and giving your comments.

Polo is a tough game both for the players and horses. The finer
points can be more appreciated in stop action.

Trying to capture in two dimensions the excitement of experiencing
something new in a little person's life.

A five ft. high playground slide may not get your heart pounding with
anticipation but overcoming innate feelings of self preservation, of
fear of the unknown and unfamiliar to someone who is only 24
inches tall can provide an adventure in a park.
Take your height, multiply it by 2 then add another 25%.
Marisa was well aware of the math and you can see the concern in
her expressions as she stood on the top of the slide but with steely
determination she overcame her reservations about being so high
and enjoyed the ride down... many times. Nothing like spending
quality time with someone living new experiences to bring back
cobweb covered memories of long ago similar trepidations... if you
can remember that far back in time that is.

Thanks for stopping. After running on the water runway, liftoff is
achieved.

Thanks for stopping. In real time, a loon takeoff appears frantic,
awkward procedure. But in stop motion, smooth, dynamic and well
choreographed. Nature has it all figured it out. She had millions of
years to figure it out.

Thanks for stopping. Spider webs capture water droplets on a quiet
misty morning. One could... and did watch the crystal bright droplets
evaporate in the morning sun.
