You give it a 4/4 because anyone can stand on a world-class beach with oversaturated film and a polarizer in midday sun and crank out dozens of these ubiquitous post-card shots. And it also seems evident from his portfolio that this is all this particular photographer can do even with pro equipment.

Your typical oversaturated postcard-like image. Yes, pros use Velvia for landscapes. But that's on lower contrast images on land. they also understand that it sucks with a polarizer on bright ocean and beach settings with too much contrast. If you like the look of all those hundreds of racks of over-the-top, color postcards, in every ABC Store in Waikiki this is fine. But any beginner with a polarizer can crank them out.
