Hi Claude. Thanks for taking time to comment. I have to admit that your version looks a lot better. I did not notice the impact of cropping to a square. I wanted to show how immense the structure was by including the awe struck people looking on. I hope it has worked. I do have another version without the people but it looked so plain. Thanks for the suggestion. Cheers!

Constructive criticism is most welcome.

Alexander, Hassan, thanks for the comments. I was going for that "Nat Geo" look, so the yellow border. I understand that it was quite distracting, thus the updated version. Hope you all like it better.

I agree with Blagoy. Your sports folder seems to capture intense moments at the point of occurence and you have composed them very well. Making these shots are quite difficult and you make it seem so easy.

Really cute. Nice to see a unique portrait for a change. I assume that the white spot on the upper right and some parts of the lower right are reflections from a fluorescent lamp or a light source of some sort. It's very distracting but adds spontaneity to the picture. Other than that, it's a very nice capture.

Hi Fab. So we are in the same boat. Would also like to see DC and Kimi win this year for a change but yes, the mere sight of that red devil gives me the shivers whenever it makes a lap.
The Minolta is OK for the price. It's the cheapest one I could find in a reputable store here in Singapore. It was either this or a Nikon which was almost 2x the price. Only problem is with scanning on B&W Ilfords. I always use the "Color Negative" mode instead of the "B&W Negative". Not sure if it is with my setting (default) but it always turns out overexposed using the B&W mode. Quite strange as it does not do that with Kodak T400CN negs. So far that's the only issue I have. All the pix here have been scanned using the Minolta.
Looking forward to your 2003 pix!

What beach ball?
Looks like a typical day at the Playboy mansion.

Contemplating on the life of a bird amidst the hustle and bustle of
the city. All comments are welcome.

Agree with Geoffrey. Quite an interesting background. Try cropping more from the left. Wish you had close ups of Emma.
