I have a Toyo 810MII Metal Field and it is a tank - it will have no problems handling big glass. I frequently use some heavy lenses on it (including a 165mm Super Angulon and 360mm Symmar) and a have never had a single concern about stability.

A 360mm f6.8 Sironar is a monstrous lens - very big and very heavy - probably not the best fit for a field camera. If you are looking for a long lens for your field camera, I would look at either a 300mm f9 Nikkor-M (I am very happy with mine) or a 300mm f8.5 Fujinon-C --> both lenses are quite compact and only a fraction of the weight of the big Rodenstock you are asking about.

There are some great lens choices here:
I have an original Arca-Swiss Mono-ball i.e. the earliest, polished aluminum model. While the black version
subsequent to the one I have (
http://www.cameras-scanners-flaar.org/camera_scanner_accessories/Arca_Swiss_ball_tripodhead4.JPG ) featured a
panning base, mine does not. Years ago, I remember being able to purchase an after-market panning base made
specifically for the original Mono-balls, but I am having no luck tracking one down these days. Anyone know
where I might such a thing?

Multiple Off-Camera Flash Set-up Without Wireless?
in Canon EOS Mount
Posted

I am new to the Canon brand. Is it possible to run mulitple E-TTL off camera cords without requiring a 580EX II and wireless capability? I have a nice macro set-up I used to use with an old Pentax LX film camera that used a Lepp Macro Bracket and allowed you to set-up multiple off camera TTL hotshoes. From what I looked at, Canon's off-camera cord is geared to a single master unit and not geared toward stacking multiple off-camera flash cords together like my old Pentax system was. Am I missing something?
