I just bought a Mamiya C330 Professional f and I discovered that

there is no way I can set the film ISO speed. Is this normal? Does

the camera automatically determines the film speed? Thanks alot!

I bought a Yashica TLR without a built-in lightmeter recently. Thus,

I am thinking of buying a lightmeter but I have no experience in

buying them. I am wondering what are the differences between

lightmeters for ambient, spot, flash, etc. If I am doing photography

of buildings and nature, what are the recommended meters? Thanks a

lot for the advice!

Thank you all for your valuable advices and I really appreciate it! Since cost is a huge factor for me, a student, I think I will either use my slr for now or buy a cheap meter on ebay and hopefully buy a good one next time. Thanks again everyone!

Dear all, I am a serious amateur and recently I have decided to

change to medium format. I have purchased a Yashica TLR without a

built in meter. Prior to this I have been using SLR with built in

lightmeter. I don't know if it is necessary for me to purchase a

lightmeter in order to take good photos with the TLR since I don't

have sufficient experience in determining exporsures without using

lightmeters. Another issue is that lightmeters are expensive that's

why I am hesistating in buying one. Thanks in advance for all the

advices!
