Hi
Is there a way in LR to find images based on the 'Star Rating'
I looked at the Find panel and the only thing i saw was capture by date and
search by text
Thanks

Hi
I have some questions regarding Lightroom.
1. In the Web module when publishing the pictures on web do i select pictures
where my RAW's are stored ( does LR automatically convert RAW -> JPEG while
uploading?) or do i select the pictures which i have converted to JPEG's?
2.Is it possible to upload additional pictures in LR in an exsisting web
gallery?
Thanks for all your help

Hi
I have started using Lightroom and love it.
I have a small question though the answer to which i can't figure out (must be
very simple)
In the left hand side of 'Library' module there is a folder View and in that i
can only see few folders which i have added. How do i see the list of all the
folders that i have added?
For eg.I have added almost 30 folders...but i can only see about 6 or 8 maybe.
How do i go about selecting a previously added folder?
Thanks

Hi All
What is the best way to make the background black in flower photographs.
I am using a magic wand tool to select and making the fill color to
black...but it is taking alot of effort and it is time consuming.
Is there a easy and better method to do it?
Thanks

Hi
I always visit the north shore 2 or 3 times a year. Its spectacular out there.I am also planning to head out there this weekend.According to the website fall colors are still at 75-100%.
Try taking a trail down to Splitrock. Its beautiful out there.
In Grand Marias..Artists point is good..sunsets are great.

Hi all
I have got some additional plugins for photoshop that i want to use.
By reading i figured that all my additional plugins should go in the plugins
folder in photoshop.
Now under my "Plugins" folder i have subfolders like "Filter".... etc..etc.
So where exactly should my plugins go?
Ang whenever i try to add a plugin in the folder and start photoshop it gives
me an error saying
"MSVCRT.DLL was not found and the app won't start"
When i remove the plugin everything is back to normal again
TIA

Hi all
i have been photographying for abt 2 yrs now and still learning.
I know i enjoy shooting pictures.... (nature,landscapes ).
Can you take a look at my pictures and tell me
"Do i have it in me?"
www.manishraichur.com
All my friends praise my pictures alot, but i don't take their compliments
seriously.I have even joined my local photo club where we have monthly salons
to critic pictures, but i have found out that they give good ratings to even
mediocre pictures .. ( for eg,they even praise snapshots ).
Most of them don't know the difference between TV and AV on their dials.
so please take a look at my site and help me decide.
Thanks

The subject is very sharp, but the background gives the effect of motion.
If i use slow shutter speed won't the subject also be blurred?
I have heard of 'panning' ,but i don't think it is being used here

Thanks for all your suggestions guys.
As for the site being slow,it loads up very quickly for me.Don't know what would be causing it?
Alexa.
Thanks for your advice.I know the fonts are different on the images, but i don't know how to make them the same size and same font.
For eg. The word 'NATURE' is papyrus font with 14 pt.Now if i try to make the word 'PLACES the same it looks totally different. What am i doing wrong?

I wanted to know what is the difference between Hue and Saturation?
I am working on some of my recently visited Zion pictures.
I wanted to bring out the redness in the canyons and the rocks. In Adobe Camera
Raw,i saw a tab called "Calibrate" whch had "Red Hue" and "Red Saturation".
Am i going in the right direction by playing with these 2 sliders?
Thanks

I had been to Banff 2 yrs back during fall and it was amazing.
I don't know much abt the winter conditions there, but it should be a wonderful experience
All of Banff is beautiful,Every spot is worth photographying.
My best sunset picture was at Mt Vermillon ( i hope i spelled it right ).Other than that Lake Moraine,Lake Peyto are all beautiful.
Lake Louise is more touristy, but i guess since you are going in winter it will be practically empty.
enjoy your vacation.
