I'm thinking about submitting this in a print exchange, am not sure
about this image. I was hoping to get some feedback from others
regarding it.
This was taken on Father's Day at the Getty Museum in L.A.

A booth divider at a Japanese/Korean restaurant in West L.A. I'm
hoping to get some comments on composition.
Thanks, Derek

Looking for opinions.
I've only left his eyes in color here. Though it is kinda hard to tell
at first glance.

I was going for a dark effect here, but the picture was taken outside
in bright light. I tried darkening the picture and then dodging over
leaves I wanted to bring them up. It took a fair amount of time, I was
wondering if anyone had any pointers on how to do this type of thing
quickly.

Oh so you know that picking the flowers at the rose garden is a no-no! Well since she will likely grow up to be rather beautiful I thought I could hold it over her later in life :-)
I've burned the unshaded grass on the top and left as much as possible. I'm not sure of any other technique to darken those sections without looking weird.
Suggestions?

I caught this in the rose garden at the L.A. Natural History Museum in
Exposition park. There were many wedding parties being photographed
there, while I just happened to be walking around and caught this one.
Any thoughts?

These are my first architecture shots, and my first requests for the
opinions of others.
This image was taken in the evening, probably just as I was leaving
the Disney Concert Hall in downtown L.A. I think I underexposed it a
bit, because its darker than I remember, but it looks really good to
me. The print is even better than the web picture. I think that there
is something I'm missing when converting this over for web display.
Any thoughts?
Thanks, Derek

Originality is off the charts for me.
Shot above Greenland while returning home from London

I shot this while on plane returning from London. Everything looked
so beautiful and inhospitable down there, so I had to break out the
camera and get a few shots. This was the best of them. I also have
another take on this photo in my personal Gallery here:

Let me know what you think.
