I took this while I was getting to know a camera I borrowed as part of my job. I'd really like
to do more people photography, but finding a subject is ALWAYS a problem. Anyway, this
is the nicest photo I've ever taken of my wife - but I'd be interested to get your comments.
In hindsight I perhaps should have asked her to tidy her hair up a bit, but then it would
have ruined the spontaneity of it all.

Saw some excellent "street art" in San Francisco recently. And given
my new-found obsession with all things colourful I had to risk
getting mugged by pulling my camera out know and again.
I can't claim much of the credit for the original image in this shot
really, but I like the way there is a distinctly suspect-looking
stain on the blue woman's forehead!

Really excellent this! And the strong shadows are critical to the image's success, IMHO.
And some people say you shouldn't take photographs in strong sunlight!! Bah!

I'd grateful of any comments on this photograph, taken on a recent
weekend trip to Denmark
Many thanks
Ian.

Am really not sure about this - I think the framing is perhaps a bit
much...?

I'd be grateful of any comments
Thanks

I find this shot really intriguing. It really caught my eye at first and made me think Wow!. Then I started thinking along the same lines as a few others who have commented -that I would perhaps have either cropped a little off the left and bottom or changed my viewpoint by moving a bit to the right.
Now Ive changed my mind again. I like the slightly quirky composition of this: it makes me keep looking at it and staves off any chocolate box type thoughts!
You must be really happy with this I would be! Well done!

I love this! Always wanted to try it myself so I may give it a go now you've inspired me...
Kerry on Waterbeach Station

Hi.
I'd be grateful of any comments on this picture of my mate Kerry. I positioned the camera
so that the reflection of the lights in the wet pavement coincided with Kerry's feet,
surrounding them in a "halo". This was the last shot I took, as a train drew into the station.
Ian.
