I for one welcome the sell of only RAW images ---- When film was leaving the market > I use to shoot weddings & hand the unprocessed rolls at the end of the event. If the B&G are really on a budget - it works for me. Hand them the cards right from my camera ... hope they have some skill in CS with the images.

Thanks TOM ... will try a hard reset ...That should solve it ....I hope.

Maybe its a WIN 7 thing ?? Sure slows down our work flow >Hope we can reset .

Maybe its just a WIN 7 thing ?? But sure slows down my work flow ....

Try the pressing the "PrintScreen/SysReq" key .... Wish we had aSysReq key :-) Must be Mac

The computer is not connected to the Net -- So I have shoot the screen --load the card -- CS/edit to here ...so not quick and easy. But thats what the symbols looks like -- seems that many of tools now are starting to show 3 choices on the screen > as you move the mouse across the screen trying to edit. Just like to set it back to "original". As I had stated :: never seen this before ?? A screen shot would show the CS main screen >> & these symbols would be too small to see, for sure ...

First time for me in all these years ?? Must be simple button to turn them off ??

This is CS 4 on a WIN 7

It shows the standard crop AND then the rotating crop is next AND not sure what the other figure does ??

SO if you try to do the standard crop tool , say on the edge of the image and are just a milometer off >> the rotating tool will engage ??

After nearly 18 years ... all the sudden > when I select the crop tool or magnifier < --THREE symbols appear side by side << INSTEAD of the usual ONE symbol ? Making it very difficult to select only the application we wish to use ?? Help Mr Wizard ~!

For me its the Dmax --- to handle that not so perfect neg from 25 years ago. Maybe if you could use the 120 glass holder from the Minolta Dimage and attach to a DSLR ..might be a start.

My 120 scanner is my bread & butter -- I have 30 years of archives that I have been continually scanning > since the first Minolta Pro was on the market. Let's hope the Plustek is as good as the Multi-Scan Pro ~!

Any word on the Plustek OpticFilm 120 --debut ? In the stores ..

Found it -- just in a different place on the newer models ... thanks

On our 20d we could actually see only B&W on our screen ---anyway to access a app in the 60d ?

Most of our formals are in the Pre ... so several hours before the "Uncle Bobs" are even present ...

I remember the Metz and a few others > that had the available second flash on-board --- great idea. Used the 45 system for awhile. Most will walk away with a full power 200 watts blasting in their way.

-

Simply take your Norman 200c or Quantum large strobe -- place it on 1/1 > turn the strobe around to the shooters behind you... guaranteed after a few rapid blast > they will walk away :-)

-

Have camera :: will travel --

-

35 years experience ....hand-meter qualified..fully manual certified ...97% shooting percentile ... Central West Coast CA

-

Always a full frame as possible to a 12X8 -- unless the clients specifies a post size necessary ...

-

Have so far shot > 15 family weddings ( some included video ) all at a considerable personal economic cost ~~ time/film & travel..... once you shoot one > your expected, for ever, as a brother/uncle responsibility. :-)

Portraits at a wedding instead of a Photo booth?

"It's even less appealing to spend 10-12 hours on my feet in a day chasing bridesmaids and groomsmen around churches and hotels while carrying two 7-9 lb camera rigs. It's a job for younger people than I..."

I've been at it for over 30 years -- Photographing was only job. Way too many weddings and "backdrop-setups" at Corporate events... through the decades.
But I carry one camera/one lens for a 4 hour day these days... and offer the card right from my camera if need be. Trying to retire. But I still get the occasional call .

Narrowed it down to second marriages only and max 30 guest. Really don't like post work ( unless I get paid by the hour ) Shoot full RAW and LRG Jpeg = give them the card -- if they want manipulations - return the card with $$ for CS work. Perfect wedding to me ;-)

Let the younger ones learn their craft and toil ..... Our B&G are all "destination" weddings --- never meet with them before or after //\\
