tough shot situation. laying on my stomach. camera got all dirty and
it was really hard to see and adjust things. feedbacK?

ha, for once a photo that indeed tells a story. I skip through all these photo critiques past just "pictures of things" to ones that actually portray some mood, feeling, or story. good.

man i just wish there wasnt the lens flare. nice... nice!

great image. it makes me suspect if you havent already checked out his work already that you would really like the guys work who makes www.mypetskeleton.com . i really like some of his prints and such, they have this feel.

yeah, perhaps small elements of it would be different had it been a planned shot. and i forgot to add that there is an off camera flash off to the left too to avoid dark shadows on her face

this is one of the few photos where i feel like im finally getting
closer to what ive been trying for for 5 years. film: sensia 400
cross processed, overexposed 4.5 - 5 steps in-camera. sigma 14mm shot
at about f8. im standing on the ground, not on anything, just tried
to use the wideness of the lens. only complaints are i think i
shoulda panned kinda right, and maybe a polarizer. but tell me how to
mount a polarizer on a bubble lens?
feedback, foolz

technically a good photo - good parallels, paralleled curves, values, and just the dash of color. BUT - unexciting? emotionless?
-
biker is not in focus, also possibly too slow a shutter speed. also an OC flash coming in from the left would REALLY make the difference on this pic.

Critiques appreciated on this promotional photo of Gary Zon, frontman
of dismantled (www.dismantled.org). makeup / lighting by me.

this border does not add to the image

unmanipulated photo - shot on my old yashica-A. dim attic room lit by
2 of those big hot 500watt shop work lights reflected away from her.
every time i get back a roll of 120 film, its usually a big waste of
money, and theres always that 1 shot per roll that paid for itself.
this was the winner. i liked the composition, tell me what you think
