Great job Gary as usual
-
Gary it looks a little on the low resolution side.
-
Great job Gary, nice work as usual.
-
Great job Ray, looks like that D10 is getting some use.
-
Great idea, some smuging around the edges would help mix the two images together, but great job in using the concept.
-
Great job, you have grasped digital photography by the tail.
-
Great job Van, I see the leading line and purpose for black & white, a true vintage look.
-
What an amazing touch just a little color can do to a photo. Great Job
-
Great shot, what nice soft shades from the snow. The rule of thirds is obviously being applied, great job. The sun may have benefited a little being just a hair to the right but nothing to worry about.
-
Great job with paying attention to detail. As I said in class, normally the main focal point of an animal or a person is their eyes. The eyes of this bluejay is exactly in line with the rule of thirds.
-
Van, great usage of the rule of thirds, this is a little tricky but the flag seems to be the initial focus point and as such falls into the upper right intersection.
-
Van
Good application of the rule of thirds.
-
Van, great job capturing the great diversity of color/contrast.
-
Gary, once again, beautiful job, I love the composition, I see the rule of thirds & photo fill, a perfect shot for B&W.
-
Carol, This is what B&W was made for, you have found an abstract item and B&W serves such purposes very well. Cropping this photo with your editing software may help with composition and photo fill, but more importantly you have grasped the concept of B&W usage.
-
Jacqui, great landscape B&W, the ducks are certainly a point of focus and they fall under the rule of thirds. This photo is perfec for a B&W simply because of the gloomy concept. Although it seems to be a peacefull place, the snow and lack of movement in the water give a gloomy feel to things.
-
Stacey, you completely understand the concepts behind B&W. What a wondereful, abstract, photo of the vintage tractor. Color would not have done this photo true justice, only B&W could present what needed to be seen. Great Work!
-
Carol, looks to me like you have been able to use some great photo cropping features, good selection for this photo, the circular crop truely enhances this photo of tawawa park. You realy captured a beautiful scene. Keep up the great work, you have a good eye for beauty.
Good job in uploading.

Pat looks like our time together paid off for you. Great job in uploading this photo on your own. I think you have proved that person wrong that said you could never learn how to use the computer.
-
Great Photo Gary, the depth of field is perfect, the eyes are usually the most important point of focus, the reflection in his glasses is also providing a wonderful touch. I do hope you plan to continue in the great world of photography, you have a talent of seeing things most do not.
ps great job in figuring out what was wrong with your jpg so you could upload.
-
Ken, great job with uploading, photo, and image size. You have this stuff down great.
The photo is great, you should be very proud, in fact I would say this is one of those family keepsake photos. GREAT JOB
-
Jacqui, great job in uploading, you have got a great picture here, this is what photography is really about, being able to remember those moments we wish we could hold forever...like our childrens homecoming...wedding...and so forth.
-
Larry, thank you for letting us use this photo in our class, you did a great job in uploading, just be sure to change the image size down to 600x800 at most. The picture is great, what a wonderful example of a great birthday celebration, perfect smiles from everyone, this should certainly be a family scrapbook keeper.
-
Denise, great job in uploading this great picture, these are the type of pictures that really are worth their weight in gold. Maybe that value is all sentimental but this is what photography is really all about, capturing a moment in time to preserve it for all future generations. Great job in uploading, and thank you for letting us use this picture in class.
