I would appreciate input. It took many shots to get conditions just
right.

Approaching Eastern Europe on the Danube. Travelling by river boat
at dusk with the scene in the wash of the boat engine exhaust.

Very powerful image, no matter what your religious persuasion. Good cropping, good background, good perspective. Very, very nice shot. The only distraction is the cables. Did you ever think about hitting those with PS7?
-
There is so much information in this pic and it is all pertinent. The silhouette, colors, reflection...great shot!

I love silhouettes! This is the third one I've seen today that I've stopped to appreciate, and this one is the best! I think the cropping is perfect too with the reflection and action moving left. Good detail and clarity too. I LOVE IT!

I've always had the impression that silhouettes are not widely appreciated on this site. I think they are a lot like B&W in that they remove some of the technical details and allow you to better focus on the emotion of the moment. NICE SHOT! I don't care how many times it has been done.

I love the perspective - good catch. You can just feel the dog's enjoyment. The feeling of speed is intense.

I read through all the comments and find it interesting that nobody questioned that these are gas bubbles. I am very interested in your technique - please do tell.

Very interesting "pose." I like it.

Very nice. I love the back lit look. Black and red are always a great combination.

Great lighting of her face and great expression. It makes you wonder what is going through her mind. I can't figure out what that thing to the left is. It attracts too much of my attention.
-
Outstanding color. The feather texture is intriguing. Is this as taken or did PS7 play a part? Either way, great picture.

Nice. She does have a sweet, fun look on her face. Good light. I might have cropped a little closer to the left. I feel like there is something over there.
-
I wouldn't use the word "just." Sunrises are special, so much hope for the new day. You might think about cropping out the antenna tower to the left, maybe even the vapor trail. Nice moment. I like the framing too.

Very nice work. The depth of field is just right. I liked your entire folder. I spent 2 hours chasing these guys around the Cottrell exhibit in Houston yesterday, and they won! I would like to know more of your technical details.

Actually, I like the exposure. I might have cropped a little closer on the left. Also, on pictures with horizontal or vertical edges I usually cheat and level with PS7 since I never take them just right. Nice...

Actually, I like the ear ring. I would like to see both ears. Her skin is so clear, and the lighting and tone so even. The eyes draw you in. So simple and so nice...

I like this picture the best of all the underwater shots. The blend of colors, highlights and reflections is so interesting. Also, it gives a feel for the environment. Nice.
-
I love the clarity and sharpness. I like the lighting too, but it would have been nice a little earlier to get the building lights too to add some color. Oh, how I miss Austin!
-
I don't know what those eyes are locked on to, but she is totally involved - nice catch. I wish I could see their color. I like the low contrast for this picture. I also like the sharpness.
-
Very nice stop action! Also the hockey picture. I would love to know how you managed that, especially on a basketball court!

Nice concept, good angle (esp for a shoe commercial). I wish the depth of field and lighting were better, I'd like to see more of the athlete and less of the dark shoe.

The effect is sure even across the field. I have a picture on this site where I shot through a boat exhaust on the Rhine at dusk. I really like the effect. Some guy on this site questioned why the picture was out of focus?!?!?
Oh well. I like your picture.
