Hi Assad! It's good to see some new works of yours. This is great, I love the blues and the subtle details like the bird flying by.

    Cheers!

  1. Thanks for your comments, much appreciated! Bill, this is the first time I've had the opportunity to photograph a dragon fly in flight. It hovered just long enough for me to focus. I shot this with my Canon EF200mm F/2.8L lens.
  2. I was fortunate to photograph this dragonfly in mid flight. He seemed

as interested in what I was doing, as I was in him, so he hovered

just long enough for me to shoot this. If you look closely, you see

what seems like a big smile on his face.

  3. I've never seen anything like this! It's a big dog, but he looks quite relaxed and comfortable in that backpack. Great shot, should be in a magazine.

    Cheers!

Asad this is a great photograph of a great man! Excellent lighting and tone! This reminds me of something by Yosef Karsh. I wish I could have been there to experience this, nicely done! This is a definite keeper for your portfolio.

    Cheers!

Very nice action shot, and the light on the bird's face is lovely. I like how you've captured the movement of the wings. Nicely done!

Thanks guys, this photo was shot on film and scanned a couple of years ago. Unfortunately I didn't have a very good scanner back then, but perhaps someday I'll rework this photo again.

    Cheers!

    The Gaggle

I shot this image over Burnaby Lake BC early in the morning, just as

the sun was rising. There was a thick layer of fog that was brightly

illuminated by the sun. The forest in the background was higher up

above the fog, and still mostly dark.

Beautiful moody light you've captured here. Looks like a bar scene where closing time is near, and most of the people have left. This image goes very well with jazz music playing in the background!
