Nice isolation with d/f. Great highlight on the eye. Profile is a little strong, with the subject dead center and looking out of frame, giving the photo a snapshot feel.

Great Perspective. The water on the street is great. The fram feels slightly tilted. Maybe a slight clockwise twist could help that. Looks like the sky was blown out with a digital camera. I struggle with that all the time. Good work.

This photo feels off balance. The plate is not centered and there is not equal space around the sides of the berries. Nice isolation on the sprig at the top but even it is a little off center. The berries cut off at the bottom are distracting. Maybe show the full berries there.

Excellent metering. I like the way you hid the odd stem in the horizon. If the angle had been slightly lower I would of missed it.

Great tones. The open top frame is odd and it highlights the fact that there is too much space above the subject. The blur on the top of the shoulders is a little distracting.

I love the placement of the folwers but they are too dark. The back ground is even darker acting as more of a distraction than a frame, especially the lower left highlight.
  1. Great tight frame. I just wrote 10 or so reviews asking for a tighter frame. You have it. Looks like the detail right around the eye is a little blury...would be nice if it was sharper. Looks like a deeeeeep well.
