I agree, I keep getting the message when I try to open one of my images that I do not have permission.  This is getting old very fast.

Hello, I note that many of your images are marked as "hidden". Is it possible that this is what is causing the problem? Do you have the ability to selct and unhide those images?

I can find nearly 300 pages of my "Content". Here's the problem, when I click on a photo to see a larger version of that photo and the click on the left or right arrows on THAT photo, eventually it opens someone else's photo.

Yes, this is true. Your photos must be in an album for the arrows to function as you expect. So, create an album and put your photos in it; the arrows will maintain the view within that album. I agree that this is not an ideal method but it is what it is (for now).

  3. The posting rules for the NWF were created to keep the playing field level, fair, and chaos free.  I will reiterate what was said before, those rules will remain in place as long as I am moderator of that forum OR I am directed to change them by a higher authority (which is not you, Sanford).  The Gallery is freely open for submissions and several other fora are available for posting, for those who are unable to comply.

  4. I would recommend that we all take a positive and patient view of this situation and I understand the frustration that it is causing. However, it is quite obvious that I can create Albums for myself and I suspect this can also be done for other members. Why I have this ability and others do not is unknown but my being a moderator is probably the reason. I am (and have been) reaching out for a solution to this situation so please stand-by.  I would appreciate if other moderators would PM me so that we might arrive at a joint solution.

I would also like to add that I am not paid for any of this and I am doing it out of my unbounded love for this miracle of the internet ;0)

That was my fault. 😳 I copied a link to your Albums tab, to get its format, then overwrote it with Sanford's member number; but the URL it linked to was still yours. Now, it sends me to Sanford's Activity tab, because the Albums tab doesn't exist.

I thought that might be the case. No problem. Regards.

  6. I can not say if this is totally correct or even if it helps the OP's problem but in any case, regarding our personal galleries that existed on the old site it seems that now we have ALBUMS.  I was able to move several of my uploaded images, as a test, to a newly created album. I was able to name this album Flowers-Trees-Gardens. The moved images now appear in this album similarly to how they apperaed in the gallery that was on the old site.  In addition, the albums appear under a new tab on my profile page :  Activity, Images, Albums. Regards.

  7. Perhaps this has been fixed already but I did not have any problem deleting an image from my portfolio. Under my profile I selected IMAGES and found one that I wanted to remove. I then selected DELETE. This put the image into a que. I then selected DELETE PERMANENTLY and it was gone.

  8. Karim, the offending post has been deleted. The terms of use only permit the image owner to post an image. The link that you posted opened automatically to the image so it appeared that you had directly posted the image, which would not have been permitted on this site. Perhaps a better way of referencing another's images is needed in the future. Regards.
