I have a Ziess 135mm large format lens.The slow speeds are slow and I

can not cock the shutter at T or B.This is a tesser lens and the

glass is perfect.Is the shutter worth fixing? Or can I put the glass

in another shutter easily....Can anyone recomend a good reasonable

lens repair guy......Dennis

I see several Polaroid lens around in good shape...90mm and

135mm.These lenses were on polaroid large format cameras that are no

longer in use.....Does anybody the quality of these lenses and what

they are worth.....Thanks.Dennis

To all you sceptics who comment on carbon fiber before knowing what

they are talking about.

I agree that the wood camera is a beutifull thing,but not the best

thing to use when out in the weather.Especially since most of us shed

a tear everytime we notice a new scratch or rub in the finish.

Carbon Fiber is tuff stuff.You can not break or flex it with your

hands and you would have a hard time breaking it with your best

hammer.Give this camera a chance.If it is designed well the fact that

its made of carbon fiber should be a good atribute.I have mine on

order.I hope it is more carbon fiber and less plastic.TOYO uses the

word plastic without being very specific.I don't know if they are

calling carbon fiber plastic which it is not or if they have combined

the two together....Dennis
