Well, I am currently using a P4 on winxp with colorvision for color management on a 22 inch CRT, I also have a Mac G5 with Apple Cinema Displays both use epson 2200 for printing...
And to be honest I have won more contest with the prints from the Winxp machine for color than the Mac.
So for me Winxp with a good color management program can not be beat.

Kodak pro/n is the best DSLR I have seen or used. To me it is well worth the price. And its is 1 to 1 on lens. So wideangles are still wideangles

What os are you using ? And with files the size you are talking about you will need at least 4 gigs of high speed ram and either scsi or sata hard drives. Ide drives will be slow.

Go with the F100. why buy the d100 when it is based on the n80 just without the film ?
And if you look at a piece of 35mm film and then take it apart you will find 3 layers atleast. One for yellow, one for cyan and one for magenta.
and with a ccd in most dcams. You find a device that is small than the film. One layer and only a 1/3 of it is used for each color.

I would keep for F5 for Digital can not match film yet as far as qualitiy... Take a good landscabe photo with each. use like Fuji 50 slide with the f5 and then set the d100 to max rez. Blow both photos to 24x36 and see how much better the film based photo will be. Based on color, and detail

I have one of their backgrounds and it is first class. Well worth what I paid for it.

I would like to atleast hear why someone rated the pic either really low or high. One of my pics was given a 1 1 and the next lowest was like a 5 4 So I would liked to have known why it was rated that low by that person...

They work well. just will have to increase the contract some once scanned.
I use 2 of the 150s for my background lighting

But if you do not conact them how can you get a release to use the photographs ?
For the way I understand it. Unless you are shooting for a newspaper you can not use the photos without a release... I know this is a little off the topic. But I felt it fit in ok.

Acording to Nikon. The main differnce between a G and a D lens now is that a D has a metal lens connector to the camera, and it has an apiture ring. A G lens with ed glass is the same inside as a D lens with ed glass.
Hensel, or White-Lightning or Bowens

I would go with White-Lighting, I have been used 4 x-1600 for about 4 years now and never had any trouble or lack of light with them.
