Dirk Dom, thanks for your warning, but it is to late for me. I rediscovered the FD system the summer 2000 and started to build up a collection of FD equipment which I also use. MILES FEIGENBAUM said
"I'd like to see some shots of all these goodies lined up, posted here..A nice weekend project". Well, most of my work (80 of 82) are made through those great FD lenses. Please take a look. Kind regards, Baldur

Canon made basically three models of this excellent camera. F-1 (1971), F-1 (Later model)/F-1N, little revised 1976 and finally New F-1 (1981).

Very strange. I have placed hyperlinks in the technical info field of some of my images and it has never been a problem. The reason for I removed it, that placing it was the last thing I did before all the links disappeared. Perhaps it was just enough to submit changes as I did?

Atle, Lannie, William, David and Bob: Many thanks for your help. I did go the image and when I refreshed the page, the links appeared for one or two seconds. After some attempts, I managed to hit the "Edit Image Info" link and I got in. I made some changes in Technical details" (removed hyperlink) and after submit changes, Bingo! Everything seems to be as it was before. Many thanks again. Best regards, Baldur

Atle, I do not think that is the reason. Following links disappeared: Options - Details - Critiques - Rate !

Some time ago, after "Edit Image Info" in one of my older images
(http://www.photo.net/photo/1256781), both ratings
and comments disappeared. I have tryed more than once to contact PN
via "Contact Us" while I am signed in, without a resault. Has
someone this same problem and can it be resolved? Kind regards,
Baldur.

It is a bit rare but you might find it at www.keh.com or www.ebay.com. The price could be between $300 and $400 compared to the condition.

In this case, the reason might be a little bit bigger glass on the older type (f/2.5 against f/2.8) even though the newer type has a better coating (S.S.C.). If it is not about money, I would recommend the Canon New FD 135mm f/2.0 which is a professional lens in an "L" quality.

Photo.net is a great community with many great photographers. It´s my opinion that Anna Pagnacco is one of them. This is really sad.
I think a warning should have been made before this. Best regards, Baldur

Francesco, I´ve seen it once or twice last 3 years on www.ebay.com for sale. There is no doubt about the quality. Not many where made. I was told that only between 50 and 100 where made that time. It´s very rare and a collector item today. It would be very nice in your collection! Ciao, Baldur
