1.
2000 clicks.. a videographer would be a better choice. I upload all my shots and ask the B/G to select their favorites.. no limit. These are the most personal and favorite images they want for the deliverable. I will add my choices to complete the story. I will then edit the set of photos that make up the total selection.

  2.
This topic may have been previously discussed but I can not find anything specific so here goes: When focusing depressing and holding the shutter release button half way down, then moving the camera to frame the picture - this camera will not lock on the focus. It wants to refocus after reframing. If I set it to use the OK button to focus - then it works great - the OK button holds focus and then depressing the shutter release, the camera fires after re-framing. Also, when using the shutter release button, sometimes it takes the better part of a second to release the shutter when I frame the subject and hold still. The camera is set to AF-S. and has the latest firmware 1.3. Any suggestions??

  3. A wide angle for a digital (1.5x factor) AND a film camera may be a bit of a challenge. I have a Sigma 24mm 1.8 left over from my ZX-5N days and also got a Sigma 10-20 for my *istDS and k10D
  4. What a great combination.. but of course I would say this. This is now my 5th

Pentax. I guess this qualifies me as a Pentaxian.. anyway. I could not figure

out why the lense would try to focus try to focus - searching and searching when

my index finger was nowhere near the shutter release on the top of the camera.

The camera just resting in my hand by the grip seemed to have a mind of its own.

Then I realized the grip's shutter release was sensing my palm - a little

quirky but managable, now that I know what was causing this seemingly odd

    behavior from a fantastic camera.
