Actually I think the pciture is nice but the flare adds a nicer touch to it. Controled use of flare is very hard to master and I think you've done a great job...If that was your intention that is!

Giving alms in kyoto. Thanks for the critiques..

Wow that looks very cool for reala almost like a slide film. Might I suggest that composing a little more to the right would help balance the composition? The extra space on the left doesent really help. If the pavilion was more to the left of the picture the bridge would naturally lead the eye to it...I miss kyong-bok-kung...Its so peaceful there...

Not sure about the photo but it would make great stationary!

This isnt a techniclly great photo and its a scan of a photo and not
a negative. However this is one of my only epiphanous moments as a
photographer. I was standing around with some friends trying to
decide what to eat when something told me to move. I swung around
behind me with my trusty canon a-1 that I happened to be holding and
snapped this shot barely bothering to focus and compose.

Nice composition, it does look kind of wicked looking with the constrast. Just a side note, are you sure its a tomb mound? I doubt that people would let a tree that old grow on top of someone's tomb, especially a king's tomb...
