She's a cracker!

nice....aspects

i'm looking at your b&w's and have only to comment that most appear to be lacking in contrast--that being the absence of a true white or true black.
maybe it's the particular lighting situation.
i'm no pro, so don't take it personally.
interesting compositions throughout.

a bit underexposed, isn't it?
good composition. i would've have cropped out the foreground or lengthened the view
-
my left foot. interesting how the shadowing transforms the impression into a relief.
one could also say that it's too grainy :)

wow! is this real?
you're probably one of those free climbers who could only access this remote spot.
nicely done

i took a closer look at this pic' because i first thought it to be a close up of a sea shell.
surprise, surprise.
yes, i agree that it is a unique departure from all the previous and all too similar.
it's the negative space and the sand-textured foreground that makes this one work!
well done!

four your aye's only. a clever intriguing read. a real hit that you just can't put down. more McCaw aye's!!

TEXTURE!

too much magenta light. also, the source of the light tells me it's coming from the background. therefore, the right side foreground should almost disappear into darkness so as to add depth. (if you don't mind my saying...).

(not) just another great shot!
