I would send the 140 back and get the 120., if your main use is portrait. i used to
have a contax 645 and now i have hasselblad. many people shooting portrait uses the
hasselblad 120 makro.planar. I think the one for contax is even better at long
distances.
Hope this helps

Hi,
I went through the same problem. Solution?? Buy the expensive Hasselblad polarizer
(which is by all terms a B+W filter) I tried slim filter with bay 60 adapter and it
vignetted. The hassy one works properly and doesnt show any vignetting

Hi, everyone.
for people who own or have owned both systems, which one do you prefer and why.
I actually own a 903 swc but like to know if i´m missing something from mamiya
43mm
Thanks everybody

hi, adrian. where do you live in Spain?
Have you recently published a calendar with photographs here in Spain??
-
Hi, Ann. It is pretty sunny and hot here in Spain in summer ,especially in Andalucia. Film? Both 100 and 400 would be ok. If you´ve got a Mamiya 6 that would be perfect, and one or two lenses. If you travel with many equipment youll get tired very soon of carrying it. Just a piece of advice.: beware the thieves.,always keep an eye on your equipment. i dont want to alarm you but it is better if you´re aware of. It just happens in the biggest cities, mostly Sevilla. Enjoy your trip and I know you´ll find Andalucia wonderful

I have recently bought a second hand 903 SWC. Nice camera . But I have
taken some shots including sun and street lights in the scene and i have
noticed the pentagonal silhouettes from diaphragm blades (not very well
defined in shape) shooting in a range of f8-f16. No filter on the lens. I dont
think this normal, what do you think?

yeah i read the review.but...i´d like to hear from a real owner!!! opinions may
be very different if you´ve paid $6000 or just the camera´s been borrowed for
reviewing

Hi,everybody
has anybody bought the camera?? any opinions from real owners??

Hi
I own a 903 SWC and i have no problems at all. The camera works beutifully.
And that lens...wow.

Hi, again.
When i had the Contax, i also purchased the vacuum insert, hoping that it
would do the difference. i know it may sound weird but i found the same
problem of flatness but now it was amazangly strange: at f8!!! two identical
shots, one showed the problem the other not, camera mounted on a tripod,
manual focused, etc. But what really drove me crazy with the camera was the
day when on a wedding it didn´t shot flash mounted on hot shoe. Fortunately,
i was near home and had to change the equipment, relying again on my best
beloved Nikon F5.
i know this to be a particular case but you can now understand the sort of
feeling i got about that camera!

i really don´t know what you are refering to but as a Contax 645 ex-owner can
tell you something. I was really disappointed with that camera. Problems
everywhere:delay when powering up, drain of baterries (just 9 or 10 roll),
flatness of film inadequate sometime, flimsy film backs, etc. I also had a
Pentax 645N which liked more than the Contax. In general a super camera
the Pentax but i sold it bacause the lack of flatness wide open sometimes.
After all the wandering, i ended up purchasing a Hasselblad 503 CW.
Wonderful camera, very easy and no whistles, or auto-anything. just
concentrate on the picture. I´va been so happy with Hasselblad that i have
recently purchased a Hassy 903 SWC, amazing camera too.
Hope this helps

Hi,everyone!
I´ve bought recently a 903 SWC and like to know which polarizing filter is
appropiated to avoid vignetting. Is it worthy buying the polarizer Hasselblad
offers?
Thanks in advance

thanks a lot for the information. Any other important tips for using the
camera??

I´ve just bought a Hassy 903 SWC today. my question is about the external
viewfinder. What we see inside the black lines is the actual image recorded
on the film??? Any considerations on it??
Thanks everybody

thanks, everybody.
but what a dont like about Leica is the fetishism about it. I want a camera to
shoot pictures because i earn my living that way. i just dont collect M´s bodies
like many people do, nor have my camera wiped with a soft peace of clothe
repeatedly and suffered if it gets scratched. i have used Leica M6, it works
flawlessly and even i´m thinking of purchasing one but can´t stand those
opinions who blindly follow the aurea of the legend of a name. Perhaps my
question wasnt clear enough. Would you pay $3000 for let´s say a
Voigtlander or a Konica Hexar??? then why pay that for a Leica???

reasons to buy a Leica M????

i´m deciding to buy a leica m with a 35 mm f2 asph. i´ve used m6 classic, so
advice from m7 user would be welcome.
thanks

i´m also using a Distagon CFI 60 3.5 with my Hassy 503 cw, wonderful
combo. Buy it, you won´t regret it. just be careful, if you intend to make
architectural shot, it may deliver some little barrel distortion
Need D30 vs. 10D advice
in Canon EOS Mount

Hi, Brenda
You´ll find that the 10d delivers better and clearer files that the d30. in fact I have
never used a d30, I used to have a d60, but I have a 1d which is 4.3 megapixels and
still the 10d file is better.
For me there would be no doubt, I´d buy a 10d. You´ll be amazed of which is capable
of delivering
