Hi, I remember a picture of girl with a goat and titled at friend. It was taken in India (kolkota?) and seen as both color and BW. I am trying to locate that image and could not find it. If someone has the link, please post it.

Sorry to be naive. I bought the used Polaris light meter and trying to use it for first time. I have not used any light meter before. In the manual (and meter), there is a analog scale which indicates fractional readings in 1/10 stop increment. Could someone let me know why there is a need for analog when the meter already display the digital values of f/stop and shutter speed? Or am I missing something that analog may provide some additional data? Thanks for your time.

Hi,
I bought a Canon EOS 33(Canon Elan 7E) recently. It got slipped
off my hand and got a dent at the back. Because of this the CUSTOM
function button got jammed and became inoperative but all other
buttons were working goo. By mistake, believing a local photographer,
I gave it to a camera service man and now the camera is showing that
battery is low and totally got struck. I still got the camera
warranty but I dont find a good service center at chennai(Madras),
India and also I dont travel to US for atleast another 6 months.
What should I do now?.
Your comments are appreciated.
[Of all my bad luck, my Canon EF 100mm 2.8 macro USM lens escaped
from this. So still I am happy.]
Thanks for your time

Also in my above postings I never included for which the ratings were very good but the prices seems to be high. So I collected only the lens that is good and less than $500. (Except one which is around $600).

Hi,
I am a beginner to the photography. I bought a Canon RebelG with
normal lens two years back. All these days I did not take serious to
take good pictures. Now I got a 3 month old baby and want to
take very good picture of her. But the fact is in a roll I get only
1 or 2 good picture(that too not upto my expectation). This is so
annoying to miss lots of good moment. The pictures lacks in lighting
as well as sharpness. To get to know about photography, I ordered
for a new book titled "Understanding Exposure" because one of my
colleague recommended it. Also looking for any suggestion or
tutorial/guide about lens/filter and about anything to take good
pictures.
Your suggestion are most welcome.
Thanks for your time and considerations

Step down rings
1) 58 to 55 and
2) 55 to 49
so that i can use the same filter for all the lens?
Thanks for your time
