Thanks for replying. I understand that people don't have much disposable income during a recession, so I understand you point and thanks for your advice. I plan to keep the Ebay store up for at least 6 months and see how it goes. I'm retired and I mainly do photography for fun, but it would be nice to make some more income from it.

Dreamweaver and Photoshop are a great combo for making great web sites. Dreamweaver makes it easy, especially if your sites gets complicated. Photoshop can be used to mock up and or make a lot of the graphics for the site. Get a used book off Amazon.com on Dreamweaver and maybe web design too. Dreamweaver isn't too hard too use. It does have a lot of features though and everything can be a little overwhelming, but
I made my web site with both about 5 years ago. I need to update and re-design it though.

Thanks for the response. I purchased FotoQuote a number of years ago(6-8) and I know it is good for pricing work based on all the things mentioned above. I never really used it though as I never have really sold the rights to my images often or I would just give a really low price when I was rarely asked. I don't want to ask for too much. I don't think FotoQuote will run on xp or Vista though. I should probably install it and try it though. Prices maybe outdated somewhat too though. I will inquire for more details on the brochure.
Thanks

Has anyone had any luck selling photos online? I have tried for years to sell photos online first via my web site and
now with an Ebay store without much luck. My web site gets pretty decent traffic too. Not as much as it did when I
actively promoted it, but still significant, but not many sales. I cancelled my merchant account and payment
gateway service recently because I was rarely selling any photos. I recently setup an ebay store and have had a
little more luck, but I barely make a profit with all the fees and the fact that my prices are pretty low(I don't want to
charge too much and scare away potential buyers). Any suggestions to selling more photos online?
Any info on selling to photobuyers and stock photography?
Thanks,
Rick Baker

I was recently emailed with a question asking for a price to use one of my images on a business brochure. How
much should I charge? I don't like just distributing digital files to anyone. What resolution, type of file, etc. should I
send?
Thanks,

I will be visiting Colorado during the last two weeks in September. I will be photographing in several areas, mostly
around Ouray. I have seen a lot of images on the internet, and like what I see in the images around Dallas Divide, Mt.
Sneffels, the RL Ranch, the Lost Dollar Road,Silverton Telluride, etc. I would really appreciate information on where
to get the best images and any other suggestions.
Thanks!

I am looking for photo mailers that I can use on 16 x 20 matted photos. Also looking for photo mailers for other sizes. Would like to buy them individually too, if possible, instead of in bulk.
thanks

Thanks for your replies. Yes I have been to Colorado many times, including the San Juan area, but mainly in the Summer and it has been "awhile(especially in the Fall)" I am just trying to plan things so I hit all the best spots and maybe there are some places that are great, but not known to many.

I am planning a trip to Colorado in the last 2 week of September. Where/what are the best locations/subjects to
shoot in the San Juan Mountains w/fall colors and in Colorado in general?
Thanks
