While this must have been a fantastic sight, it is very hard to convey that in this static scene. Perhaps a tighter close-up would be better, as the surrounding vegetation does not add add value.

I like where you are going with this, but I don't think it worked very well.

The gray architecture on the left and the photo in the background are distracting. This is made more so since the couple are small in this image. it would have been nice if the verticals were kept parallel.

even though it is probably the correct exposure, it looks a tough washed out to me.

Try using curves to add some contrast, expecially to make the pool in the forground darker. Add a touch of warmth in the color balance.

Yes every once in a while the drummer gets to take center stage. I

found this was a great opportunity to get a good close shot.

-For anyone who is interested, Warp 11 is a Star Trek band. They are

friends of mine and are going to be in the upcoming movie 'Trekkies 2'

And yes, he is wearing half-white/half-black makeup. I allways found

it interesting how the old trek tried to tackle social issues.

  1. This was taken ate in the afternoon when the sun had just started to

set. It was really a blissful experience. The mist hast started to

roll in and it was soaking up the color like a sponge.

  2. Heh, I bought a Brown horizontal camera a while back, probably just a tad larger than this. I rented a 17-foot Uhaul and drove for an hour to pick it up. When I got there, it had not been dissasembled yet. It took 6 guys 2 hours to dissasemble and move to the loading dock. Then we remeasured the camera, which was 1 1/2 feet too long for the truck. I said 'forget it' and left. Cost me $180 for the Uhaul rental.

PS. I was the high bidder on the camera at $1.
