My. This just grabs me- the perspective, the fortuitous foreground, the details of texture...

Great! Just tiny bit too much foreground...

This was taken just after susnet from a hill opposite the Alhambra. It
was cropped slightly and the remains of a crane removed; the only
other Photoshopping was to attempt to rig the color the to match that
of the projected slide more closely. I can't seem to get the shadows
to show the contrast that's evident when projected. Is it too
contrasty? Too much foreground?

I agree- but as the floor was reserved for worshippers, I could only take pictures from the balcony. This was almost the only angle from which I could take any pictures. Also, as I recall, this was late afternoon, if not twilight- the interior is just surprisingly dark.

Any thoughts or pointers would be great.

Really good sky and very evocative wall.

This is very nice indeed- it makes me wistful for Paris. Two things detract from it just a little: first, the picture feels a bit tilted right; second, the cloudy sky picks up a bit too much of the spotlights. A clearer night would have helped, but hey, you can't control the weather!

Beautiful! I'm surprised there's so much glare on the rocks, since you used a polarizer. To me, it still looks like it needs a polarizer. But then, all my polarized skies with Velvia do have a tendency to get too dark...

I like it- but I'd like it even better without the distracting bit of chain-link fence on the right.

That's a lot of sky! It's very nice sky, but I'd like to see more of the mountains in the frame. All in all, though, a very lovely scene.

Any comments would be welcome- thanks.

There's some sort of strange aberations on the smiley face, and the heavy shadows don't do anything for me.
I don't know much about birds. But this one was pretty.
