    Hi Christopher,

     

    unfortunately, my film scanner offers 98% frame coverage, enough to crop out the woman's legs... But I agree with your comment! If only I could put the 100% image...

    thank you for your time! I can't say I prefer your version, because I think the man is a key element in the picture's depth and synthesis. I believe photography transforms reality through the freeze of time, even if my pictures don't always achieve that! I shall keep shooting!

    well, this shot is on epitaph, Easter. People pray over the dead body of Christ. I believe the soldiers were there initially for security reasons, but nowadays are just remnants of the past, part of the ritual. But that is the beauty of photography, to transform reality. You now found out that reality is much plainer than you expected, but pictures are supposed to speak for themselves, making their own comments for the part of the world that the photographer decided to put within the four corners... I'm open to discuss that of course!

    Thank you all for your comments. As for the non-blurred carousel, it was my choice. Why should I blur it? So it would be more impressive? I don't want to!
