    For me, it's always tough to control yellows and reds. If I'm not

    careful, I tend to blow them out. Thank God for histograms.

    Anyways, depending on your monitor type, this image may seem

    blownout, but not on my monitor. I like saturated colors.

    The trick is to have a nice ripe banana. This little critter loved it so much that it allowed me to be within a couple of inches from it. The magnification that you see in this image is pretty much the limit of this wonderful lens (without any aids). This shot was handheld. Stopped down to F22, TTL flash on a cord (flash was a couple of inches away as well).

    I wanted to try a simple composition with one isolated subject.

    This tulip really cheered up my wife and I wanted to memorialize it

    with this picture.
