I first saw this site, it reminded me of Going to Emeral City, better know as Oz. Picture buildings instead of the monumets presented here, but then again there is no yellow brick road neither.

No need to explain.... Color makes the difference in this shot. Sorry about getting back to ya ... just a little late. But, anyone can see the difference color, from time to time can make. As to color make this one better.

Great perspective, having any looker to look up. As you had to do in taking such an image. Keep looking up to get more great images and share them with us, those who too are looking up for ideas and better means to photograph.

Using 300/2.8 and a little cropping to get this close up. Using
Sunny 16 rule with ISO positive fulm of 100.

I was amazed at this structure of winding walls of stones. What are
your thoughts?

Using the sunny rule 16 with a 100 ISO film. That would be 1/125 sec
@ F16. Taken during my visit in the area attending the International
Wedding Institute, Hasselblad University during the month of August
in the year 1998. Scan with Minolta Dimage Scan Multi and before
doing so, Photo shop was my dark room.

Perhaps you may like this front shot somewhat better!
As for the red streak, not knowing it at the time, but the light seals in my camera needed to be replace ................. I wished I knew that before hand ....

Critiques, some times are a matter of taste in which the looker may
have; being different from person to individual. Regardless, your
comments are considered here and are taken hopefully that one can
improve in the future. Is that not the idea? Thank you!

Using Museum lighting only and shooting wide open at 1.4 with the
85mm Zeiss lens.

Aesthetics is when, something can get your attention, and this one does. Why? Not having to be young and yet attractive.Yet, not just getting attention is always best, but being original help too. Good choice

Using Photo Shop allowed me to custume frame the image of interest,
using two of the colors within the photo allowed the framing to be
color matched.

Keep the lens wide open and you might loose the bars of the cage and
then again they may just fade away abit.

Using the 180/2.8 Zeiss at 1/125 sec f16. With the use of Sunny Rule

was simple. One camera and lens using a flash to the side with the
use of a cord. My beginning days of using the flash. All comments
are encouraged. Thank you

As for leaving Monument Valley, Az.; I could't help to see what was
behind me. Having my Minolta 9xi and a Tamron 35-105/2.8, I stop to
take this shot. And I'm glad I did. Your comments are more than welcome.
