Nice moray capture, but to me at least the lighting is a bit flat for my taste and the cropping is a bit severe, but that is just my taste. What setup were you using?

Bernie:
Very nice capture. I love Christmas Tree worms, and have several here on photo.net. This one has two minor problems. The first is that the white band is blown out on my (calibrated ) monitor. The second is that I wish there was more DOF.
But still very nice.

A very nice capture, I like it a lot. Personally I would have tilted it a bit to the left to put the main horizontal plan going up a bit, but that is just nitpicking. I like the negative space on the right, the cropping is very nice.

A very nice composition for a scene that many of us would not even bother to point a camera at.
Well done.

The official state nudibranch of California should be this guy, the spanish shawl. Palos

A local blue banded goby from East End of Catalina. I am amused when these guys
show up in guidebooks as endemic to Galapagos.

Marc: Very nice shrimp. I like the composition a lot.
Well done

Richard:
There were 5 or 6. You can see one in the lower left and one on the lower right. Good catch. These guys seem to be mostly in the Caribbean and you seem to dive in the Pacific (I am jealous) but if you get to Bonaire/Belize/Caymans I think you will see them.
Cheers

Jaap:
Very nice image. I like the blue gradations a lot, but there appears to be a bit of lines in the lightest blue part of the image. I am sure that it is some sort of artifact of making tiny photos though. How do you like the sigma 15 on the D800? Many of my friends are trying to figure out the best WA lens for the new Niikon full frames.
Happy holidays
